Staying connected shouldn’t be a financial burden.

When someone is incarcerated, their family serves a sentence too. We help families in the New River Valley stay connected, supported, and hopeful.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support incarcerated individuals and their families by removing financial barriers to connection.

We firmly believe that a person’s circumstances do not define their worth and that maintaining relationships with loved ones is essential to successful reentry. Everyone deserves compassion, support, and the opportunity to move forward.

Our Founding Story

From 2016 to 2020, while our son struggled with alcoholism and addiction, he was arrested for DUIs, felony eluding, and probation violations. Before his first arrest, we had never experienced having a family member incarcerated—it's a shock when it happens. One moment, your life is ordinary; the next, you’re navigating the many hurdles of the criminal justice system.
